 How to get involved.

There are several ways that you, as a parent, can serve our kids! You can lead a small group for students, serve in one of our preschool rooms on Sunday mornings, or even serve at Vacation Bible school in the summer! To learn more about how to get involved, you can go through Life Track, our 4 step process for joining the Serve Team. Check it out here!

 Frequently Asked Questions.

+ Can my student serve?

Absolutely! We encourage all of our youth students to get involved and serve! They can do this by going through our 4 step process for joining our serve team. Learn more here.

+ How can I stay informed as a parent?

We encourage you to follow us on social media! We have a main page for Living Word, and then each ministry has its own page: Kidz Life, Jr High, Sr. High, College.

+ How do you ensure my child's safety?

Our team wants to give your family an excellent experience in our preschool and elementary age rooms!

When you arrive, our team will happily show you the way to the children’s area. You’ll go to the first-time check-in station where you can tell us a little about your family to help us serve you well. On our check-in form we’ll ask things like what allergies your child may have, how many children are in your family, and get your contact information.

Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you’ll see your child’s code on the screen. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick up your child after the service.

Every serve team member is also required to pass a background check in order to serve in our kids classrooms.

+ How can I make the most of my child's time at church?

Pick a consistent service time to help your kids build a relationship with their consistent Small Group leader and other kids their age, follow Kidz Life on Instagram to help them with scripture memorization, pray for your children each week as they come to church, and pray for our teams as they serve and care for your kids.
