What to Expect
Come as you are.
Visiting a church for the first time can come with a lot of questions. We want your first Sunday to feel simple, comfortable, and easy to navigate.
The Service
Expect worship, prayer, and a practical biblical message designed to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus.
What to Wear
There’s no dress code. You’ll see everything from jeans and sneakers to people who like to dress up a little more. Come however you’re comfortable.
Your Kids
Kids have spaces created especially for them with age-appropriate worship, teaching, activities, and caring leaders who want every child to feel known and safe.
No Pressure
You won’t be singled out or expected to have everything figured out. Take your time, experience a service, and get connected when you’re ready.

Jesus is at the center.
What we believe shapes who we are and how we live. Our faith is rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ.
Jesus
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for our sins, rose again, and offers new life to everyone who puts their faith in Him.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God and the foundation for what we believe and how we live.
Salvation
We believe salvation is made possible by the grace of God and received through faith in Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is present and active, empowering believers to know God, grow in faith, and live out His purpose.

Water Baptism

Grace + Sanctification

Eternity
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, and that every person will spend eternity with or apart from God. John 5:24–29

Joel and Kelcey Murray are the Lead Pastors of Living Word Church. Both graduates of Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, they share a heart to reach Dayton with the message of Jesus.
