Care Ministry Teams

The Care Ministry Teams are designated the Pastoral Care ministry level one partners with Pastor Dr. Pat & Jackie Murray. They are individuals in the congregation that desire and commit to serve the Lord on a volunteer basis to be sent out and make hospital visitation. These individuals are anointed to deliver the healing power of God to touch those with sickness in our local hospitals. They will visit the sick and shut-ins; provide aid and care to members after surgery or serious illness, all under the direction of a Care Minister or the Pastoral Care pastor. When hospital stays become necessary, a friendly face and a prayer partner means the utmost. It’s vital you know the Living Word Church values you and is committed to stand along side with you; illness can be a stressful time. You don’t have to go through it alone, we care! It’s a blessing to witness God healing power manifest amongst the sick and move in (take residence) them during their time in the hospital. These servants want to ensure that you have whatever you need to keep your faith and your spirits high while you recover.
